The Next move is OURS!

“The Launch” 2015

In our next phase of “The Launch” we need to look at the promises of God through His servant King David.  In Psalm 37: 23 David writes: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and He delights in his way.”  We need to understand what the word “ordered” means here before we can move on.  The word “order” is not by command for us to take orders shouted out to us telling us what to do next.  Oh no, this is shown as a degree of “order” as our lives were being pieced together one piece at a time with great precision and in His (God’s) case a sense of spiritual order not our understanding of order from a human standpoint.  His purpose is to fulfill our lives in ways that point to Him.

God built into or lives a sense of understanding from the very beginning of time.  We see the returns on His investment in our lives as humans when we look at Enoch.  Obtaining that kind of relationship with God is possible but the Enoch type of result is unlikely at best.  The influence of the world is so great and is only getting greater and not in a good way.  God wants to live through us and build His character into our lives as we grow in Him.  This takes time, but most relationships do.  He has a distinct advantage over us as His creation.  He is all powerful and all knowing, so He knows our hearts and minds and He knows where we are going and what we are doing at all times.  There is not one split second of our life that goes unnoticed by the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords.  This is an incredible benefit to us as believers.  God guides us but we need to be in tune with Him by relationship so that we are open to all He says and does through His Word, prayers, and fellowship with other believers as well.

Our journey is relational and it begins with Him.  Do you know Him?

Prayer: Dear Father in Heaven, please lead us and guide us and help us to be submissive to your calling and direction in our lives as we seek your will and purpose in a fulfilling relationship in serving you as King of Kings and Lord of Lords. In Jesus’ name, AMEN! (and YES this duplicate Prayer was intentional)

Have a Blessed day!
