Word of God…...

Isaiah 40:8 “The grass withers and the flowers fall, but the Word of our God endures forever.” (NIV)

What a promise this is! I have listened to people try to justify their actions by using the Word of God and compromising what it says to meet their particular needs. God’s Word needs no help. In this particular verse, we see that there is no room for compromise. We can lean on His Word, stand on His Word, speak, teach, and preach His Word, and the only thing we must do is let Him guide our hearts and minds in the delivery of His Word to others. Our confidence in His Word must be sound and unshakable, but we must also be able to accept humility when we do not understand what it says and seek His guidance to know Him more. In His Word we find clarity through research, life applications everywhere we look, and strength in time of need as well as comfort in time of trouble. Above all, His Word still stands. I could give verse after verse to substantiate everything I have pointed out here, or I would not be able to say it with confidence. We can have the faith to ask God to make His Word real to us and He will bless our reading it as well as our research to find its particular application to our lives. 
God is…...compassionate, loving, kind, serving, just, all-knowing, holy, and eager to show us Himself through His Word. It is time to seek Him on His terms and in His Word where He may be found. Luke 11:9-10 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.” (NIV) Here is our promise by Christ that we will find answers and we will not be turned away in our search for Him. He promises to receive us and welcome us on this most wonderful journey in Him through His UNCHANGING and most HOLY WORD.

Prayer: Dear Father in Heaven, Give me guidance through Your holy truth found in Your holy Word. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Eye Has Not Seen 1 Corinthians 2:9 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (NKJV) What would happen if you stopped and took notice of the things God has prepared for you in the past as well as the future? We are not a complicated creation to Him, but we are very complicated to us. He created us and the plans He has for us are geared to our character which He created. Let’s face it folks, we are the ones who mess things up. Let’s stop, sit down with the Word of God, and thank Him first, then open that conversation with Him. He waits for that interchange. Our Willing Savior

Our Willing Savior Matthew 8:2-3   A man with leprosy came and knelt before Him and said, “Lord if you are willing, you can make me clean.”  Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man ,  “I am willing,”   He said. “Be clean!”    Immediately he was cured of leprosy.  (NIV) This remarkable story of healing is powerful. But I would like for us to focus on the phrase stated by Jesus: “ I am willing,”   These few words are often overlooked on their own as a statement in themselves, but they speak volumes of what Jesus desires to do for us.  He is willing . He does not negotiate terms, He simply loves and guides us daily when in our hearts, we truly want more and more of Him.  Key Thought: He is willing to always give more of Himself to us than we can ever imagine. Today, let us start with this request. “Lord if you are willing” …… Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, Give me Your peace, in Your time, that I may share...
