Good News Brief For Men

Greetings Men!

It’s been a while. I just want to invite you to return to our devotionals for men. I am starting a series of devotionals for men focused on the “Seven Promises of a Promise Keeper”. This book is still available on Christianbook.com in paperback. This is the latest revised version and I highly recommend that you get this. I get nothing for sponsoring this website. I just know that my life was changed through the study over a period of several weeks. I will be using the first book prior to this revision. Same material, and the revision is somewhat expanded.

I invite you to look into these devotionals at goodnewsbriefformen.blogspot.com as we move forward. You don’t have to have this book, (“Seven Promises of a Promise Keeper”) but it would be helpful and encouraging as we move forward.

As the director of Men’s Ministries serving at several churches over the years, I have personally witnessed changed lives as we work through the book during our men’s small group meetings.

Eye Has Not Seen 1 Corinthians 2:9 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (NKJV) What would happen if you stopped and took notice of the things God has prepared for you in the past as well as the future? We are not a complicated creation to Him, but we are very complicated to us. He created us and the plans He has for us are geared to our character which He created. Let’s face it folks, we are the ones who mess things up. Let’s stop, sit down with the Word of God, and thank Him first, then open that conversation with Him. He waits for that interchange. We stop the conversation with Him with an AMEN!!! I challenge us to open God’s Word and begin our prayers. He knows your heart in advance. Our Willing Savior

Our Willing Savior Matthew 8:2-3   A man with leprosy came and knelt before Him and said, “Lord if you are willing, you can make me clean.”  Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man ,  “I am willing,”   He said. “Be clean!”    Immediately he was cured of leprosy.  (NIV) This remarkable story of healing is powerful. But I would like for us to focus on the phrase stated by Jesus: “ I am willing,”   These few words are often overlooked on their own as a statement in themselves, but they speak volumes of what Jesus desires to do for us.  He is willing . He does not negotiate terms, He simply loves and guides us daily when in our hearts, we truly want more and more of Him.  Key Thought: He is willing to always give more of Himself to us than we can ever imagine. Today, let us start with this request. “Lord if you are willing” …… Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, Give me Your peace, in Your time, that I may share...
