Trust in Him!

Psalm 37: 5 Commit you way to the Lord; Trust in Him and He will act.

 King David understood what it meant to commit his life to God.  David's closeness in fellowship and his full trust in God equaled action on behalf of God.  God loves to act in our lives and bring many wonderful things to pass in the process.  David followed God's guidance and direction and gained the label of "A Man After God's Own Heart".  Yes David did have his shortfalls and it showed up in his falling to temptation with Bathsheba, But David repented in Psalm 51 and regained his fellowship with God.

 David trusted in God and God acted on behalf of David as David captured territory after territory for the cause of his Holy God.  David trusted God to fulfill His promises and God did just that.

 Trust in Him and He will act!

Take God at His Word.  He may not provide the answers we expect but we know that in time, God's time He will answer in His time and in His way and it will be far greater than we could ever imagine.

  Promise Keepers 1993-2024-2 The attendance of that conference in Indianapolis Indiana at the Hosier Dome was a little over 70,000. Many conferences over the next several years averaged between 60,000 and 70,000. Several conferences were held throughout the year, mostly from early summer into mid-fall. Proverbs 4: 1   Hear O sons, the instruction of a father, And give attention that you may gain understanding, (NASB) As I look at this verse for the day I see the seriousness of our responsibilities as fathers to our children. Just as we are to look to our heavenly Father for His wisdom applied to our lives through His Word, our children look to us so that they too, in life, will  gain understanding .  How prepared are we as dads to reveal to our children the truths of life as revealed in the Bible. The first thing they see is our walk. We can say all we want, but unless our walk reflects what we say, our children will not take what we say seriously. At times they will test us and push us to the limit. We MUST stick to our convictions.
