For My Yoke Is Easy…. (Part 3 of 3)

Matthew 11: 30 For My yoke is easy, and My load is light. (NASB)

How can we trust Christ to handle burdens that are heavy to us?  He is God and He cares for us.  He never struggles with what we bring to Him.  He ALWAYS has time to listen to our needs and respond to our heart’s desires.  Sometimes His answer doesn’t match our request as we see it but we must remember, God has a better plan for us than we could ever have or develop for ourselves.  We often don’t fully or even slightly understand His answer but we can trust the fact that He is God, and we can fully trust Him in all things.  His yoke is easy.  How can this be?  He simply knows HOW to carry our load.  All through our life we are learning HOW to carry our own burdens, and there’s Christ with the answer.  We need to trust Him.  His load is light.  This is because He is God, and we will never be able to over-burden His heart with our load.

We have seen in this three part study that God is able.  We have seen how He is able, and we have found Him totally trustworthy.  He calls us to trust Him to bear our burdens, but we too have a responsibility to learn from the gentle One.  If we give God our burdens and learn nothing from the experience, we will go through other trials and tribulations until we see God in the light He wants us to see Him in.  Let’s face the truth in all of this.  How God wants us to see Him is best for us.  So we need to look at all that He draws us through, that we may know Him in a deeper more passionate relationship.  His desire for our hearts is to stay near Him in all things.

Start today, and spend time alone with God in prayer and pour your heart out to Him.  You will find relief in knowing He is still in control, and loves you more than you are capable of imagining.

Prayer:  Dear God, Teach me Your ways and show me Your paths that I may understand more clearly your love and purpose for me.  In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN!

May God richly bless us as we continue seek His will, and His way, through His Word.

Have a GREAT Day!!!

In Christ,
