There Is Order In The Presence Of Christ

Luke 8:22-25

22 Now on one of those days Jesus and His disciples got into a boat, and He said to them, "Let us go over to the other side of the lake." So, they launched out.
23 But as they were sailing along, He fell asleep; and a fierce gale of wind descended on the lake, and they began to be swamped and to be in danger.
24 They came to Jesus and woke Him up, saying, "Master, Master, we are perishing!" And He got up and rebuked the wind and the surging waves, and they stopped, and it became calm.
25 And He said to them, "Where is your faith?" They were fearful and amazed, saying to one another, "Who then is this, that He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him?" (NASB)
During this time in the life of Jesus’ disciples, they were still learning about their Lord. They were in awe of the fact that there was such complete order about Him. They experienced Christ personally just as we are to experience Him today.
If there are areas of your life that seem out of order, give them to Jesus. He WILL put your life in order and prepare you for your next task in His name. The disciples learned to trust Jesus for He never did anything to hurt them but only to help them just as he helps us today. When we go through great trials and tribulations in our personal lives, Jesus will still be there feeling what we are feeling, knowing how we hurt, experiencing what we are going through to the same extent that we are. But Jesus wants us to experience the peace and order in our lives that only He can give during the hard times as well as the good.
We must be on the lookout for what we are to learn through each experience so that we too may be used by God in a holy way to further the spreading of the Gospel in our world today. Open your heart to Him today and learn of the peace that passes ALL understanding, and He will keep our hearts and minds in Him.
Key Thought: Enjoy the presence of the Lord. He brings order into the lives of those who wholly submit to Him.
Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus. Help me to experience the same level of confidence that You showed the Apostles on the storm-tossed sea. Build into my life a sea of resources through Your Scriptures that my confidence grows in You with each passing life challenge. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN!!!

Eye Has Not Seen 1 Corinthians 2:9 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (NKJV) What would happen if you stopped and took notice of the things God has prepared for you in the past as well as the future? We are not a complicated creation to Him, but we are very complicated to us. He created us and the plans He has for us are geared to our character which He created. Our Willing Savior

Our Willing Savior Matthew 8:2-3   A man with leprosy came and knelt before Him and said, “Lord if you are willing, you can make me clean.”  Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man ,  “I am willing,”   He said. “Be clean!”    Immediately he was cured of leprosy.  (NIV) This remarkable story of healing is powerful. But I would like for us to focus on the phrase stated by Jesus: “ I am willing,”   These few words are often overlooked on their own as a statement in themselves, but they speak volumes of what Jesus desires to do for us.  He is willing . He does not negotiate terms, He simply loves and guides us daily when in our hearts, we truly want more and more of Him.  Key Thought: He is willing to always give more of Himself to us than we can ever imagine. Today, let us start with this request. “Lord if you are willing” …… Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, Give me Your peace, in Your time, that I may share...
