I Will Not Be Shaken (Part 1 of 2)

Psalm 16:7 I will bless the Lord who has given me counsel; my heart also instructs me in the night seasons. (NKJV)

The solidity and strength of God in our lives through the Holy Spirit that lives within us as believers is a powerful tool! Often, we do not take time to recognize His presence in times where we do not sense direction in the way we need to go in certain situations. God provided guidance in the life of King David all through His journey. God provided instruction for his Journey. Every detail David needed, God provided. His relationship with God was that close. Our relationship with God can be that close as well.
Paul instructs the Roman Christians that the Holy Spirit moves in our lives as we sleep and communicates with us in ways we cannot understand. Paul, in his travels through various cities, towns, and villages, experienced direction from the Holy Spirit and He makes mention of these events here in Romans 8:26.
Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (NKJV)
I challenge you to open your heart and give God access through the Holy Spirit that He may point out any sins that may be hindering your fellowship with God. Sin will not make us lose our salvation, but it will definitely hinder our communication with God especially in the direction He wants us to go and experience. We need clear communication. Sin only creates static causing us to not hear through our hearts clearly what God is trying to do.
Key Point: Ask God what areas in your life He may be keeping you from following Him clearly. Do not be afraid of what He may be wanting to address with you. He is a personal God and desires that incredible relationship with Him.
Prayer: Dear Father in Heaven. Help me to have the strength necessary to humbly come to You at this time for You to reveal the areas in my life that hinder my relationship with You. Open my heart and show me where changes need to be made that I may have a deeper relationship with You. In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN!!!
Have a Blessed Day!!!
In Christ,
