God's Desire For Us (Part 2 of 4)
Isaiah
55: 7
Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let
him return to the Lord, and He will have compassion on him; and to our God, for
He will abundantly pardon.
Good Day Men!
Isaiah points out a very important message here. With all the sin that one life can imagine God is willing to forgive and restore. God knows our desire to change and when we go to Him, He promises to abundantly pardon. What could ever hold us back from going to a God who is so willing for us to experience His absolute forgiveness? One word says it all, PRIDE! I have seen men so afraid that God will change them into something that they don't want to be, that they run far from Him in an effort to get away. They don't take the time to see that God can be trusted in all things. God would never do harm to us. In Jeremiah 29: 11 (11-13) it says that God wants only to do good for us and wishes that no harm would come our way, but often times we bring harm upon ourselves, because when we push God away, we invite Satan in. Yes, it really is that simple. The choice is yours. Yes, to God or yes to Satan. Which is it? The decision is up to you. From the voice of experience I must say….I choose God. His way is so much better than I could ever imagine.
Which way will you choose to go? Who will you follow? The choice is up to you.
Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, Help me to see You more clearly and help me to always make the right choice and experience your absolute fullness of life through your Son, Jesus Christ, AMEN!
Have a GREAT day!!!
