David Seeks Restoration!

Psalm 51: 10 Create in me a clean heart O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.  (NASB)

Good Day Men!

We can follow David’s call out to God for restoration in his own life.  He wants fellowship with His God restored, but he doesn’t stop there.  He wants the spirit in his life to be steadfast (fixed, immovable), able to withstand the battering rams of the tempter.

We can ask the same thing but if we choose a different path, for instance asking God to forgive us and not repent of turn away from our sin then we need to ask God for the steadfast spirit in our lives as well.  Asking forgiveness is different from seeking repentance.  We are in fact according to the Word, supposed to turn away from sin not just simply ask forgiveness.  When we willfully sin we block God from working in and through our lives (Psalm 66:18).

Don’t let Satan use you.  Stop him dead in his tracks by taking time alone with God right now, and asking Him what would He have you do about the sin in your life.  We need to hate sin as God hates sin, and love God as He would have us to.

Prayer:  Dear Father God, Show me the sin in my life that I may ask forgiveness, and that I may forever turn away from the sin that so easily entangles me.  Oh God, please forgive me for…………………………………I give my life to you! In Jesus’s Name I pray, Amen!

May God richly bless us as we continue seek His will, and His way, through His Word.

Have a GREAT Day!!!

In Christ,
