Unbelief? Christ IS the Answer!

Mark 9: 23-24 And Jesus said to him, “‘if you can!’ All things are possible to him who believes.”  Immediately the boy’s father cried out and began saying, “I do believe; help my unbelief.”  (NASB)

Good Day Men!

An instant later the boy was healed.  Jesus makes an incredible statement here.  “All things are possible to him who believes.”  God intervenes when we call upon him.  But, He intervenes with his greatest blessing.  Sometimes that blessing is not what we wanted or maybe we were expecting something else.  This is where our link in prayer to God should be constantly maintained so that we may be in position to receive His very best.  We must be in position to receive what His answer for us will be.  It may not be what we expect but it will be the best that God has for us through his divine nature.  He knows us better than anyone could ever know us.  Even we don’t know ourselves that well.

Prayer:  Dear Father in Heaven,  Through my prayer life, Bible study, and personal devotions, guide me to accept your great will for my life, understanding that you only want the best for us.  May I become so committed to you that I only want your will and not mine.

May God richly bless us as we continue seek His will, and His way, through His Word.

  Promise Keepers 1993-2024-2 The attendance of that conference in Indianapolis Indiana at the Hosier Dome was a little over 70,000. Many conferences over the next several years averaged between 60,000 and 70,000. Several conferences were held throughout the year, mostly from early summer into mid-fall. Proverbs 4: 1   Hear O sons, the instruction of a father, And give attention that you may gain understanding, (NASB) As I look at this verse for the day I see the seriousness of our responsibilities as fathers to our children. Just as we are to look to our heavenly Father for His wisdom applied to our lives through His Word, our children look to us so that they too, in life, will  gain understanding .  How prepared are we as dads to reveal to our children the truths of life as revealed in the Bible. The first thing they see is our walk. We can say all we want, but unless our walk reflects what we say, our children will not take what we say seriously. At times they will test us and push us to the limit. We MUST stick to our convictions.
