Reflecting a Changed Life....

Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. (NKJV)

Good Day Men,
I have encountered several people over the past few weeks who have told me their prayer life has increased and in some cases become frantic, due to the current recession in which we have found ourselves.  I follow the question concerning the individual’s prayer life with another question; are you reading the Bible?  In most all the situations the answer was no or not much.  Their response was what I expected; I am waiting for God to answer my prayer so I spend more time in prayer.  Satan robs most people of God’s answer when He guides them away from God’s Word.

The guide God uses in His answers to our needs and requests through prayer is His Word.  If you want to know how He answers, go to His Word so you can expect His answer in His terms.  God never answers in your terms.  We often miss God’s answer because we don’t study His language.  It’s like trying to tune in to a radio station and all you get is static, especially when you just spin the dial.  But when you take your time and turn your dial slowly, you find the correct frequency to hear the station clearly.  Now those of you in the digital world, you know where the station is and maybe even the call letters, but you cannot remember the frequency.  It’s the same issue as well.  Unless you know the frequency, you cannot find the station.
Renewing of our minds takes time.  I know we all want it NOW.  But if you begin to read how God answers prayer, you will understand beginning NOW, how He answers and what to expect from the God who gives liberally and not held back (James 1:5).  Knowing God’s perfect will takes time as well.  This is not the time for rebellion because we need to buckle down and get serious about our relationship with God.

Key Thought: You want to receive all God has planned for you?  Then get into the Word and see how you should expect His answers.  For every prayer request you have, God already has your answer ready, but are you ready for His answer.
Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus.  Help me to seek You in all things that You set before me this day.  Guide me into all that I say and do today that I may ALWAYS bring You honor and glory.   In Jesus name I pray, AMEN!

Have a GREAT day!
In Christ,
