It Really Is Possible

Luke 18: 27  But He said, “The things impossible with men are possible with God.” (NASB)

Good Day Men,

At first glance in the reading of this verse, it sounds somewhat esoteric leaving one to respond with, “that’s nice”.  But with a deeper look we can discover many things.  Things that we are capable of accomplishing on our own are easy in most cases.  But compared to what God can accomplish through us when we sell out to Him, words cannot explain.  Often we are left shrugging our shoulders and no explanation can be found.  Then we look to God, the author and finisher of our faith.  It was Him all the time.  Who puts the impossible in front of you anyway?  He does!  He often wants us to see His great love for us by showing us how He accomplishes the impossible.  His grace is often the answer.  God’s great power is awesome.  It oftentimes boggles the mind.  But in the end, we know it was Him all the time.

Key Thought:  If the impossible awaits you today, turn it over to God and watch Him go to work.  But we must remember to trust Him for the outcome.

God’s great love for us is shown through the Cross, but it doesn’t just stop there.  He is our Father and He does love us and wants to shower His great blessings upon us as His children.

May God richly bless us as we continue to seek His will, and His way, through His Word.

  Promise Keepers 1993-2024-2 The attendance of that conference in Indianapolis Indiana at the Hosier Dome was a little over 70,000. Many conferences over the next several years averaged between 60,000 and 70,000. Several conferences were held throughout the year, mostly from early summer into mid-fall. Proverbs 4: 1   Hear O sons, the instruction of a father, And give attention that you may gain understanding, (NASB) As I look at this verse for the day I see the seriousness of our responsibilities as fathers to our children. Just as we are to look to our heavenly Father for His wisdom applied to our lives through His Word, our children look to us so that they too, in life, will  gain understanding .  How prepared are we as dads to reveal to our children the truths of life as revealed in the Bible. The first thing they see is our walk. We can say all we want, but unless our walk reflects what we say, our children will not take what we say seriously. At times they will test us and push us to the limit. We MUST stick to our convictions.
