The Lord Must Build the House (Part 2 of 2)
Psalms 127: 1 Unless the Lord builds the house, They labor in vain who
build it; Unless the Lord guards the city, The watchman keeps awake in vain. (NASB)
God should always be the watchman over our homes. We can trust Him as the guard who keeps constant vigilance 24 hours a day 7 days a week. But what does He guard? The greatest and most valuable instrument that we give Him access to is our hearts and minds. If we truly belong to Him we can trust Him in all things, our hearts and minds included. Our life is the city and God is prepared to guard it at all cost. We need to remember to call upon God when the need arises. We don’t need to try to tackle spiritual problems or challenges on our own. He is there for us as He promised He would be.

Good Day Men,
God should always be the watchman over our homes.
Key Thought: Peaceful rest
comes to those who put their whole trust in Him.
Resting in God’s holy promises brings relief to the
trouble mind and heart.
May God richly bless us as we continue to seek His will, and His
way, through His Word.
