Live by the Spirit!

Romans 8: 13  For if you live according to the flesh you will die, but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live.  (NKJV)

Good Day Men,

This verse applies to believers as well as non-believers.  If a believer falls away from God and away from His fellowship after many a warning God will release him to his reprobate mind which is to the devil.  This doesn’t mean he becomes unsaved.  However God’s patience is long-suffering.  That patience doesn’t need to be tried to be proven.  Simply if a believer becomes an agent of evil and the devil, God will remove His testimony from this earth.  We need to constantly live by faith in Christ, which is by the Spirit, and we will become more like Him.  The more like Him we become, the farther we are removed from our past.  Even though our past is forgiven and our future as well, we become victims of our own old habits and living a Christ-like life will place us in a more positive influential pattern of life.  One, which God can truly use.

Key Thought:  Live by faith and practice what is learned in God’s Word. 

Bring Christ to the forefront and He will be seen through you.

May God richly bless us as we continue to seek His will, and His way, through His Word.

  Promise Keepers 1993-2024-2 The attendance of that conference in Indianapolis Indiana at the Hosier Dome was a little over 70,000. Many conferences over the next several years averaged between 60,000 and 70,000. Several conferences were held throughout the year, mostly from early summer into mid-fall. Proverbs 4: 1   Hear O sons, the instruction of a father, And give attention that you may gain understanding, (NASB) As I look at this verse for the day I see the seriousness of our responsibilities as fathers to our children. Just as we are to look to our heavenly Father for His wisdom applied to our lives through His Word, our children look to us so that they too, in life, will  gain understanding .  How prepared are we as dads to reveal to our children the truths of life as revealed in the Bible. The first thing they see is our walk. We can say all we want, but unless our walk reflects what we say, our children will not take what we say seriously. At times they will test us and push us to the limit. We MUST stick to our convictions.
