Real Peace!

Luke 24: 36 And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, peace be unto you. (KJV)

Good Day Men!

What is this peace that Christ brings to His followers?  At this time in the life of the disciples they were in great turmoil and then; Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, peace be unto you.  Is it the same peace that we can have today?  Yes!  He offers this same peace today.  Are you going through anxiety of any kind?  Is your job causing you problems?  Is your marriage in trouble?  Are your children or grandchildren in trouble?  Are you too busy?  Then Christ has a message for you…. peace be unto you.  Let God handle it.  Be available to Him if He so graciously chooses to use you in resolving any outstanding and troubling issues in your life right now.  But remember He IS able to do far more than we can imagine when we turn these problems over to Him.

  Promise Keepers 1993-2024-2 The attendance of that conference in Indianapolis Indiana at the Hosier Dome was a little over 70,000. Many conferences over the next several years averaged between 60,000 and 70,000. Several conferences were held throughout the year, mostly from early summer into mid-fall. Some conferences were held in open stadiums and others held in enclosed arenas. One was even held at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina. Proverbs 4: 1   Hear O sons, the instruction of a father, And give attention that you may gain understanding, (NASB) As I look at this verse for the day I see the seriousness of our responsibilities as fathers to our children. Just as we are to look to our heavenly Father for His wisdom applied to our lives through His Word, our children look to us so that they too, in life, will  gain understanding .  How prepared are we as dads to reveal to our children the truths of life as revealed in the Bible. The first thing they see is our walk. We can say all we want, but unless our walk reflects what we say, our children will not take what we say seriously. At times they will test us and push us to the limit. We MUST stick to our convictions.
