Father I thank thee....

John 11: 41 …..Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.  (KJV)

We can be thankful that when we pray to God, He does hear us if our hearts are right in Him (ref. Ps. 66: 18) This is a prayer of thanks from Jesus to His Father in heaven when He raised Lazarus from the dead.  Jesus prayed and God heard Him and answered Him.  We have a promise in action here.  The thanks was not given later, it was immediate.

God desires for us to be immediate and NOT delay in giving thanks to Him or to anyone for that matter when our prayers are answered.  This allows us as believers to recognize quickly where the answer to our prayers really came from.  We can be thankful for answered prayer.  Fellow believers who, at a moments notice have been known to fall on their knees in prayer to our most Holy God on behalf of the one in need.  Fellow believers interceding for a crying heart that seeks God is echoed through the prayers of others in intercession for the hurting one.  A grateful heart rises from the ashes of pain to reflect God’s wonderful grace in the time of answered prayer.  He remains radiant in order to reflect His glory to those who see us.  For those of us who truly seek Him and His guidance in our lives….He goes before us leading the way, and we WILL enjoy life everlasting with Him.

Prayer:  Dear Lord Jesus, help me to always recognize Your presence in answers to my prayers.  May I never delay in recognizing You as the source .  In Jesus’ Name I pray, AMEN!

May God richly bless us as we continue to seek His will and His way, through His Word.

Have a GREAT Day!!

In Christ,
