The Light of Christ.....

Luke 11: 33 No one, after lighting a lamp, puts it away in a cellar, nor under a peck-measure, but on the lampstand, in order that those who enter may see the light.  (NASB)

When we accepted Christ as our personal Savior, we put into action the power of the Holy Spirit.  God’s Word is open for discussion for all to grow into on a daily basis.  God is true to His Word and wants us as believers to experience Him as often as we open His Word.  But what do we do with what we learn?  Do we share it with others?  Do we have open discussions about it’s content?  Do we discuss biblical characters?  What do we bring into the light?  Do we discuss the Pastor’s message and look to grow deeper in Christ?  Do we discuss the Sunday School lesson we just had?  I know that these are many questions, but I guess the key point is, are we doing our share to light the path of those around us?  Try this, mention to your neighbor the Sunday School lesson you had this past Sunday, and then follow it up with an invitation to church this Sunday.  You never know, you may just be the invitation that God wants to use to open up and light the path of someone else.

Consider today’s verse and look for ways to grow in Christ through the learning of His holy word.

Let Christ be the light of your life that others may see Him in you!

Prayer:  Dear Lord Jesus, Guide me into the wisdom of Your Holy Word that I may become a lampstand showing the way to those who are in the dark and don't know You as their personal Savior.  Help me also to encourage others who do know You that their light my be encouraged to burn brighter.  May I also reflect You to my family that we all may grow closer in our walk with You. In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN!

May God richly bless us as we continue to seek His will and His way, through His Word.

Have a GREAT Day!!

In Christ,
