Personal Strength. (Part 2 of 3)

1 Thessalonians 3: 3 But the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.  (NASB)

We know right off that the Lord is faithful.  He honors our request for strength as only He can provide.  When turmoil comes to our life and everything seems to be in such disarray, our life looks as if it has no order to it.  Satan in most cases is at the root of these problems.  In response to this dilemma, I urge you to find a quiet place, have a seat, and grab the Bible.  Next, pray to God.  He already knows your heart and the problems in life that burden you so.  He simply wants you to see that He cares enough to listen to you verbalize your need to Him.  What is on your heart right now?  Take it to God!!! He will strengthen and protect you from the evil one.  A verse in Philippians 4: 13 says it all: I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (KJV)

Where do you want God’s strength applied?  Your marriage, your job (or lack of), your relationship with your kids, depression, your relationship to God?  Pick one or all of the above or make some up on your own and add to this list.  The fact is, God still cares and wants to strengthen our spiritual life by our seeing and experiencing the fact that we can rely on Him for strength and grace in time of need. God wants us to enjoy life in Christ.  It is NOT a burden to serve Him.  Satan would want us to believe that serving God is an incredible burden and to give up.  But God wants us to experience incredible joy (John 10: 10) experiencing life through His Son, Jesus Christ.

God is there waiting for us to call out to Him.  Don’t wait another minute.  Relief is on the way through prayer.

Prayer:  Dear Father in Heaven, May I never hesitate to learn that which You O God are so willing to teach me.  It is You that I need, and after that, order comes to my life.  In Jesus' name I pray, AMEN!

May God richly bless us as we continue to seek His will and His way, through His Word.

Have a GREAT Day!!

In Christ,
