Being a Man.... and Being Significant... (Part 11b)

Roman’s 15: 6 that you may with one mind and one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Christ Jesus.  (NKJV)

Not only are we to be like minded toward each other, but we are to translate that into our conversations as well.  As we grow in Christ and become mature in seeking Him we can relate that to one another on a level that brings more honor to Him.  As we grow deeper in our knowledge and wisdom of God’s Word we should reflect that in our conversations with other believers.  As God’s Word says in Hebrews 5: 12-14, we should expect to grow as we seek His will and His way through His Word.  In return God blesses us with a level of maturity, which brings Him glory and honor at each opportunity.

Look for ways to share with others that increase your wisdom and application of His Word to your heart.  I have learned in past years that often times I am either in a position to learn or a position to teach, but never ever at a standstill.

Prayer:  Dear Father God, help me to always to be looking for ways to bring honor and glory to Your name in all that I say and do as I learn Your ways for my heart.  In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

May God richly bless us as we continue to seek His will, and His way, through His Word.

  Promise Keepers 1993-2024-2 The attendance of that conference in Indianapolis Indiana at the Hosier Dome was a little over 70,000. Many conferences over the next several years averaged between 60,000 and 70,000. Several conferences were held throughout the year, mostly from early summer into mid-fall. Proverbs 4: 1   Hear O sons, the instruction of a father, And give attention that you may gain understanding, (NASB) As I look at this verse for the day I see the seriousness of our responsibilities as fathers to our children. Just as we are to look to our heavenly Father for His wisdom applied to our lives through His Word, our children look to us so that they too, in life, will  gain understanding .  How prepared are we as dads to reveal to our children the truths of life as revealed in the Bible. The first thing they see is our walk. We can say all we want, but unless our walk reflects what we say, our children will not take what we say seriously. At times they will test us and push us to the limit. We MUST stick to our convictions.
