In This Present Age.... (Part 3 of 4)

Psalm 37: 12  The wicked plot against the righteous and gnash their teeth at them.  (NIV)

Good Day Men!

You can take this verse and apply it directly to today.  The wicked do plot against the righteous and they do gnash their teeth at us.  They don’t like being made to feel uncomfortable in the world they live in.  So they lash out and we are their targets.  It was said of a radio host one time not long ago that he would be glad to see the rapture so the world will finally be rid of those Christian believers.  The world will finally be rid of those pests.  Little does that person realize the tribulation and hell awaits those who do not believe.  How sad.  We need to pray that God will reveal to us ways we can still be a testimony to even that kind of person.  The way he acts is natural for him.  He is an unrepentant sinner.

Oh God, help us find a way to reach the unreachable in your name and for your sake.

Prayer:  Dear Lord, Help me to be resourceful in the use of your word that I may be used as a tool to reach even the lost like this man, for the cause of Christ. Amen

May God richly bless us as we continue seek His will, and His way, through His Word.

  Promise Keepers 1993-2024-2 The attendance of that conference in Indianapolis Indiana at the Hosier Dome was a little over 70,000. Many conferences over the next several years averaged between 60,000 and 70,000. Several conferences were held throughout the year, mostly from early summer into mid-fall. Proverbs 4: 1   Hear O sons, the instruction of a father, And give attention that you may gain understanding, (NASB) As I look at this verse for the day I see the seriousness of our responsibilities as fathers to our children. Just as we are to look to our heavenly Father for His wisdom applied to our lives through His Word, our children look to us so that they too, in life, will  gain understanding .  How prepared are we as dads to reveal to our children the truths of life as revealed in the Bible. The first thing they see is our walk. We can say all we want, but unless our walk reflects what we say, our children will not take what we say seriously. At times they will test us and push us to the limit. We MUST stick to our convictions.
