In This Present Age.... (Part 4 of 4)

Psalm 37: 13  But the Lord laughs at the wicked, for he knows their day is coming.  (NIV)

Good Day Men!

The end result of the unrepentant man is clear.  Their last act of defiance will be facing hell and all of its fury.  This is the promise of God for those who reject His Son Jesus Christ.  Just as the promise for the believer to inherit his place in heaven with the Father and the Son.  As sad as it is for anyone to go to hell it is clearly an outcome that they have brought on themselves.  This should identify our purpose in winning the lost for the cause of Christ.  However there are many who make horrible remarks and use God’s name in vain and slander our Savior.  These are some of those whom God will laugh at.  Their remarks and actions are fruitless and gain them nothing except for accountability when they stand in judgment before our holy God.  There will be no laughing at that time.  There will be only tears of great shame and sorrow as friends and loved ones whom we have tried to lead to Christ are in fact condemned to hell for eternity.  A sad but true fact.

Suddenly hell becomes an even more real place, doesn’t it?

May we become the vessel that God will pour through to reach the lost at any cost!

  Promise Keepers 1993-2024-2 The attendance of that conference in Indianapolis Indiana at the Hosier Dome was a little over 70,000. Many conferences over the next several years averaged between 60,000 and 70,000. Several conferences were held throughout the year, mostly from early summer into mid-fall. Proverbs 4: 1   Hear O sons, the instruction of a father, And give attention that you may gain understanding, (NASB) As I look at this verse for the day I see the seriousness of our responsibilities as fathers to our children. Just as we are to look to our heavenly Father for His wisdom applied to our lives through His Word, our children look to us so that they too, in life, will  gain understanding .  How prepared are we as dads to reveal to our children the truths of life as revealed in the Bible. The first thing they see is our walk. We can say all we want, but unless our walk reflects what we say, our children will not take what we say seriously. At times they will test us and push us to the limit. We MUST stick to our convictions.
