Patience and its Perfect Work

James 1: 4  But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete lacking nothing.  (NKJV)

Good Day Men,

There is a sense of wholeness when we see the completion of what God is doing in our lives here on earth.  Some refer to it as an “A-HA” moment.

When God is working through our lives to meet our needs, meeting our needs is not His only objective.  He has so much more for us to absorb while we are progressing through this journey called life.  He has great purpose in growing us and conforming us to the image of His Son Jesus Christ.  There was so very much for the Savior to accomplish while here on earth and God had purpose behind His Son’s mission while here for those 33 years.  We are still reaping the benefits of Christ’s time here on earth.

If we follow God’s call on our life to seek Him and His desires for us, it will truly require patience.  Patience requires us to keep our hearts focused on God’s objective for us as believers.  Going through trials and tribulation will grow us, not into hardened Christians but experienced believers dependant on our holy God to see us through all things.  Our God truly is able when we trust Him.  We will always find Him faithful.  Yes, we may get frustrated at times while in the midst of an experience or tribulation that God is drawing us through, but we must remember there is purpose behind what God is doing.  We must remember endurance (patience) is doing its complete work, maturing us into His men, lacking nothing.  This is great promise, but we must endure.

Key Thought:  Be patient.  There is peace following every storm.  Our God is truly the one and only awesome God.

God NEVER gives up on us, and we must be faithful as we seek Him and fulfill His purposes for our lives.  We must look to Him in all things.  Endurance (Patience) will do its perfect work.  We must wait on God and watch for His desires to be fulfilled in our lives.  That is where the joy is.

Prayer:  Dear Heavenly Father, May I seek You as You draw me through whatever lies ahead of me this day.  Help me to keep my focus on You and Your eternal purposes for my life.  In Jesus name I pray, Amen

May God richly bless us as we continue to seek His will, and His way, through His Word.

Have a GREAT Day!!!

In Christ,
