Psalm 25: 8  Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.  (NIV)

Good Day Men!

Here, the Lord is described as good and upright.  Is there any sinner who is good and upright?  Only those sinners saved by grace and are justified through Jesus Christ and the Cross.  These are called Believers and are no longer sinners since they have followed the instruction of the Lord and have Accepted Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross.  Many refer to Believers as “sinners saved by grace”.  How true this statement is.  How sad, there are many sinners who hear the instruction of the Lord and still they turn Him away.

It was told me by a great Pastor some time ago that if we, as believers, really understood the torment of hell, we would work harder at winning the lost to Christ.

Our focus is not to scare someone from hell, as much as it is to win someone to Christ through the Cross.  Fear is a great motivator, however Love is a much better motivator.

Prayer:  Dear Lord, motivate me to win the lost to Christ.  Help me to make a stand in your name.  You are my strength and shield.  You are my absolute courage.  May you show your love to others through me.  In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN!

May God richly bless us as we continue to seek His will and His way, through His Word.

  Promise Keepers 1993-2024-2 The attendance of that conference in Indianapolis Indiana at the Hosier Dome was a little over 70,000. Many conferences over the next several years averaged between 60,000 and 70,000. Several conferences were held throughout the year, mostly from early summer into mid-fall. Proverbs 4: 1   Hear O sons, the instruction of a father, And give attention that you may gain understanding, (NASB) As I look at this verse for the day I see the seriousness of our responsibilities as fathers to our children. Just as we are to look to our heavenly Father for His wisdom applied to our lives through His Word, our children look to us so that they too, in life, will  gain understanding .  How prepared are we as dads to reveal to our children the truths of life as revealed in the Bible. The first thing they see is our walk. We can say all we want, but unless our walk reflects what we say, our children will not take what we say seriously. At times they will test us and push us to the limit. We MUST stick to our convictions.
