I Stand in AWE.....

Habakkuk 3: 2  …….I stand in awe of your deeds, O Lord…….. (NIV)

Good Day Men!

Recognition of who God is in our lives is not only very important to Him, but it is also very important to us as believers understanding that all blessings come from Him.  We cannot fabricate blessings for ourselves nor can we have others bless us as God could.  Our relationship in Him deepens when we understand the uniqueness of our holy and mighty God.  We may never fully understand Him, but we can fully appreciate Him in recognizing Him as Habakkuk the Prophet did.  This is only a partial verse but it can guide us into a deeper relationship in Christ when we recognize who God truly is and the potential we have through Him as believers in His Son Jesus Christ.

We need to continually seek to know Him better as He guides us into a closer relationship in Him.

Prayer:  Dear Lord, may I more clearly understand your great love for me as I draw nearer to you each day.  May I always stand in awe of your mighty deeds in my life. Amen

May God richly bless us as we continue to seek His will and His way, through His Word.

  Promise Keepers 1993-2024-2 The attendance of that conference in Indianapolis Indiana at the Hosier Dome was a little over 70,000. Many conferences over the next several years averaged between 60,000 and 70,000. Several conferences were held throughout the year, mostly from early summer into mid-fall. Some conferences were held in open stadiums and others held in enclosed arenas. One was even held at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in Charlotte, North Carolina. Proverbs 4: 1   Hear O sons, the instruction of a father, And give attention that you may gain understanding, (NASB) As I look at this verse for the day I see the seriousness of our responsibilities as fathers to our children. Just as we are to look to our heavenly Father for His wisdom applied to our lives through His Word, our children look to us so that they too, in life, will  gain understanding .  How prepared are we as dads to reveal to our children the truths of life as revealed in the Bible. The first thing they see is our walk. We can say all we want, but unless our walk reflects what we say, our children will not take what we say seriously. At times they will test us and push us to the limit. We MUST stick to our convictions.
