Renewal of the Mind (Part 3 of 3)

Ephesians 4: 25 Therefore laying aside falsehood, SPEAK TRUTH EACH ONE of you WITH HIS NEIGHBOR, for we are members of one another.  (NASB)

Good Day Men!
We should always speak the truth at ALL times and in all circumstances.  This promotes trust in all we say and do.  As believers the Holy Spirit eternally connects us.  Before there was the Holy Spirit there was Jesus, but he is only one, where the Holy Spirit is found in each believer as part of the triune God.  So in our hearts is found not only the Holy Spirit, but also Jesus and God as one (known as the Trinity).  Now the Holy Spirit knows when we lie, or exaggerate the truth.  It is God in us who can speak the truth in all circumstances. If we rely on Him then we can express difficult truth in faith knowing that God is in control.  Truth that is difficult to express can always be handled in an easier way by expressing it the way Christ would, and his examples are throughout his Word.
Remember, a half-truth is a lie; a little white lie is still a lie.  Any exaggeration in any conversation is not the full truth and therefore is what………a lie.  This may look like hard facts and they are.  But nobody said being a believer is easy.  Speak the truth in all things at all times.  It’s easier to live by.

Prayer:  Dear Lord, Give me the courage to speak the truth in all things at all times, fully knowing that you are in all things I think, say, and do.  With You in my heart there should never be any room for sin in our lives.  Help me to make Your thoughts my thoughts.  In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen!

May God richly bless us as we continue seek His will, and His way, through His Word.
Have a GREAT day!!!
