Step Up & Step Out!!!

Hebrews 9: 14  how much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?  (NKJV)

Hey guys, have you ever felt like you weren’t growing in your Spiritual life?  Have you ever thought that maybe your prayers weren’t making it beyond the ceiling?  Sometimes we have to just stop a while and listen to God.  Sometimes we just need for Christ to calm the raging storms in our lives as when He was with the disciples on the sea when He called out “Peace, be still!” (Mark 4:39 nkjv)  We need to sit down and make a real list.  Not with the computer, but with a small notepad and a pencil and get alone with God and His Word.  He calls us to these private quiet times but we are often too cluttered to hear Him call out in that still small voice.  He’s trying to get our attention and we need to listen to Him and obey Him.

On that paper, write down all the things that may be hindering your relationship with God.  Then ask God what needs to be removed in order for you to really do the things that are important to Him.  Somehow, someway, those dead sins of our past find their way back into our lives.  These sins drag us down where Satan wants us to be.  Later we become defeated, and our life less worthwhile.  These are dead works.  Christ died on the Cross for those sins and paid the price so that we may be free of those sins.  Satan likes to remind us of where we were and what we did.  Christ died for them to be remembered no more.  One of the sins we keep to ourselves is our THOUGHT LIFE!!!  Your wife and children may not see your thought life but God has a clear view to your heart and mind and He ALWAYS knows what is going on.

Do you inventory and get your checklist right.  Give it to God so you can Step up and step out!!!!  God is waiting……….

PrayerDear Lord Jesus, Forgive me of the times I didn’t put you first.  Please guard my mind that I might not sin against you.  Help me to fully understand that all that I do must be for you, everything else is against you and in vain.  Please forgive me and show me Your ways that I may be ever mindful of your presence in my life.  In Jesus’ name I pray, AMEN!

May God richly bless us as we continue seek His will, and His way, through His Word.

Have a GREAT Day!!!

In Christ,
