God Is…Ready To FORGIVE!

Good Day Men!

Psalms 86: 5   For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in loving kindness to all who call upon thee.  (NASB)

You ever do something only later to wish you hadn’t?  You may even be alone with God and frustrated and impatient with what you believe to be his lack of interest in your immediate problem.  You may hurl angry comments toward heaven in hopes that God will sense your pain and rush to you need.  He knows what we are going through long before we enter that particular situation.  He knows when we are in pain and are suffering anguish of some sort.  He understands our heart and knows what motivated us to say what we said to Him.  Now we are embarrassed in His presence and have a hard time praying in earnest to our holy God.  Fear not!!!!   For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in loving kindness to all who call upon thee.  David was obviously a very wise manWe cannot hurt God with our comments concerning how we may feel about his answers to our prayers.  Our remarks to God may become so intense that we actually damage the relationship.  So what part of the relationship is damaged?  Our part.  God’s desire and relationship with us never changes.  He is always compassionate, loving, kind, and merciful when it comes to His relationship with us.  It is we that distance ourselves from God when we behave unwisely and impatiently.  Even at times after we have asked God’s forgiveness, we still hurt.  Time will heal that wound that we have made in ourselves, especially time in God‘s word and in prayer.  God humbles us when we lovingly come to him in need.  We allowed Satan to push us and manipulate us to the point that we are not rational and as a result….we fall.  Our response is that we should allow God to better prepare us through the study of His word so that this doesn’t happen again.  And if it does happen again, then, Fear not!!!!   For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive, And abundant in loving kindness to all who call upon thee.  I think if you look close enough that you will see that verse memorization is a good thing.  Repetition is the mother of skill.  We DON’T repeat the sin….we do repeat the prayer.

Our God truly loves us and wants to comfort us when we are hurting.  Let Him bless your life with the abundance of loving kindness today.

May God richly bless us as we continue to seek His will and His way, through His Word…..AMEN!

Have a Great Day!!
