As I Was With Moses

Joshua 3:7 ……. as I was with Moses, so I will be with you. (NKJV)

God guided Moses in deep and powerful ways. We see this quite evident during the Exodus of the Hebrew nation from Egypt. Negotiation after negotiation God was still there. God never offered empty threats, and the Egyptians suffered for Pharoah’s arrogance and false power in front of this man of God. God never at one time appeared weak. God already knew what Pharoah’s response would be. God is omniscient (all knowing) even the thoughts and intents of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).
Pharoah was only a tough adversary in the eyes of man, Moses. But God had His hand on Moses. He has His hand on us as well in today’s world. Even after the final negotiation and Pharoah gave in, he later changed his mind and sent his armies after Moses and the fleeing Hebrew nation. What a devastating decision that was from the all-powerful Pharoah.
We are in God’s hands, and He will guide us just like He did Moses and other past and present warriors of the Faith.

Prayer: Dear Heavenly Father, Guide me and help me to understand that You are with me just like You were with Moses. In times of great trial and tribulation, help me to remember that not only am I in Your hand, I feel and know the closeness and warmth of Your gentle grasp as You care for me in deep and powerful ways. In Jesus’ name I prayer, AMEN!!!

Eye Has Not Seen 1 Corinthians 2:9 “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God has prepared for those who love Him.” (NKJV) What would happen if you stopped and took notice of the things God has prepared for you in the past as well as the future? We are not a complicated creation to Him, but we are very complicated to us. He created us and the plans He has for us are geared to our character which He created. Our Willing Savior

Our Willing Savior Matthew 8:2-3   A man with leprosy came and knelt before Him and said, “Lord if you are willing, you can make me clean.”  Jesus reached out His hand and touched the man ,  “I am willing,”   He said. “Be clean!”    Immediately he was cured of leprosy.  (NIV) This remarkable story of healing is powerful. But I would like for us to focus on the phrase stated by Jesus: “ I am willing,”   These few words are often overlooked on their own as a statement in themselves, but they speak volumes of what Jesus desires to do for us.  He is willing . He does not negotiate terms, He simply loves and guides us daily when in our hearts, we truly want more and more of Him.  Key Thought: He is willing to always give more of Himself to us than we can ever imagine. Today, let us start with this request. “Lord if you are willing” …… Prayer: Dear Lord Jesus, Give me Your peace, in Your time, that I may share...
